2019 Impact Accelerator Profile: Gallium Coffee ATM

Sami Jensen • April 30, 2019

This series highlights the ventures and founders participating in the 2019 Impact Accelerator. Leading up to the Venture Showcase, we’re asking each company how their personal values are reflected in their business, and what they would do with $10,000 if they won it at the Venture Showcase this June.

Venture Name: Gallium

Members: Esteban Ortiz and Noel Valentine, Co-Founders

Venture Description: Gallium is a drive-thru coffee business that aims to bring its customers the best flavor coffee in an accurate, consistent, and convenient way by using “Coffee ATMs” and a smartphone app.

How does this business reflect your personal values?
Noel & Esteban: We believe in innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. Gallium reflects these believes by providing a system which goes from bean to cup, always extracting the best possible flavor, while simultaneously saving its customers time.

Gallium believes innovation is where engineering, science, and art come together to make the best coffee experience.

Gallium provides sustainability by working to remove single-use cups from the coffee experience and replacing them with a reusable tumbler. Gallium’s coffee ATMs wash and sanitize the tumbler every time it is used. Using a tumbler helps Gallium cut down on the more than 58 billion single-use cups used annually in USA while also keeping coffee at the optimal temperature.

If you were to win the $10,000 grand prize at the Venture Showcase, what would you do with it?
N&E: Gallium would use this money for the construction and refinement of its prototype. Also, Gallium will use a portion of the award to create more content for its online presence, and to prepare for additional crowdfunding rounds.
