For this new program, which kicks off on September 12th, reSET has adopted Steve Blank’s LeanLaunch Pad, a technology platform that helps entrepreneurs develop methods for testing their concepts, recording information gained through customer interviews, and soliciting peer and mentor feedback.
The outcomes:
Participants will be able to spot flaws in their business models, validate products and services, and cultivate partners and customers who will be the key to future success. Participants will also receive guidance and resources necessary to bring their ideas from concept to market.
You will gain the following skills:
- The ability to actively listen to and engage customers to find out exactly what they want in a product and how you should deliver it to them.
- Effectively gather, evaluate, and leverage customer feedback to strengthen your product, marketing messages, and business model.
- Engage customers through the 3 phases of customer relationship management lief cycle: Get, Keep, and Grow.
- Identify key resources, partners, activities, and distribution channels required to deliver your product to your customer.
- Calculating direct and indirect costs for delivering your product.
For a flat rate of $1,025 you will receive:
- 4 months of coworking at reSET’s coworking space.
- All necessary program materials
- Software licensing
- and LUNCH, for all 9 in-person sessions
- Last but not least, the opportunity to present to the public and potential investors at reSET’s Flight Night!
The Details:
- The LeanLaunch Pad Social Enterprise Accelerator will run from September 12, 2014 through January 9, 2015
- There will be 9 in-person sessions held at reSET’s Coworking Space, 99 Pratt Street, Suite 200, Hartford, CT 06103
- Participants will receive weekly interaction and feedback through the LeanLaunch Pad online platform.
- Participants will be able to present their businesses publicly during Flight Night!
Requirements:
- Entrepreneurs must be driven, tenacious, passionate, and willing to dedicate themselves to bringing their business concepts and strategies to market validation.
- An average of ten hours of independent work in between in-person program sessions, and responsive communication with mentors and program staff is required.
- Participants must have a strong business concept or business model already in place to test and innovate.
Scholarships are available for up to $500 on a first-come, first-served basis.
