Marketing Strategist and Connecticut Small Business Mentor Succeeds Sarah Bodley
Hartford, Conn. June 23, 2026—Reset, the Connecticut-based entrepreneurial support organization committed to advancing social entrepreneurship, today announced that Sarah Blecher has joined the organization as its next Executive Director. Blecher joined Reset on June 15 working alongside outgoing Executive Director Sarah Bodley for a two-week onboarding and transition period through June 30, to ensure continuity for Reset's staff, entrepreneurs, and partners.
"On behalf of the Board, I want to express our deepest gratitude to Sarah Bodley for seven years of exemplary service to Reset," said Dave Menard, co-chair of Reset's Board of Directors. "Sarah built the foundation this organization stands on today, and we are thrilled to welcome Sarah Blecher to carry that work forward."
Bodley joined Reset in 2018 and, over the course of her tenure, expanded the organization's reach and impact significantly. Highlights of her leadership include facilitating the acquisition of Collab New Haven, which extended Reset's footprint to greater New Haven; launching new core programs such as the Food Incubator, Food Accelerator, Retail Incubator, and Digital Marketing Mastermind; establishing Reset as a founding partner of the Hartford Culinary Collaborative; doubling the organization's operating budget to more than $1 million; and securing a long-term endowment with support from the Zachs Family Foundation. Her work was recognized with the Bank of America Neighborhood Builders Award and the Leadership Greater Hartford Polaris Community Award.
Blecher brings two decades of marketing, brand strategy, and small-business advisory experience to the role, along with a deep connection to Connecticut's entrepreneurial ecosystem. A graduate of NYU with a background in filmmaking, she began her career at the global advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather and went on to spend more than a decade at Digital Pulp, where she rose to become the digital marketing firm's first female partner and led multidisciplinary teams of designers, developers, and strategists. She later shifted her focus to mission-driven work, leading marketing for the Miami-based nonprofit CODE/ART before relocating to Connecticut, where she has served as a volunteer business mentor with SCORE Greater Hartford, helping women and entrepreneurs of color start and grow their businesses. She is also the founder of Blecher Digital Marketing, building custom marketing strategies for small businesses, and most recently served as Development Director at the American Mural Project in Winsted, Connecticut.
"I've spent the last several years sitting across the table from the entrepreneurs Reset exists to serve, and I've seen first-hand how transformative the right support at the right moment can be," said Blecher. "I'm honored to step into this role and to build on the strong foundation Sarah Bodley leaves behind."
"We are confident that Sarah's combination of strategic marketing expertise and hands-on experience supporting Connecticut's small business and entrepreneur community makes her the right leader for Reset's next chapter," added Dave Menard.
Bodley will remain available as a resource to support the transition. The Board thanks her for her leadership and wishes her the very best in her future endeavors.
