2019 Impact Accelerator Profile: Alchemists Beauty

Sami Jensen • May 2, 2019

This series highlights the ventures and founders participating in the 2019 Impact Accelerator. Leading up to the Venture Showcase, we’re asking each company how their personal values are reflected in their business, and what they would do with $10,000 if they won it at the Venture Showcase this June.

Venture Name: Alchemists Beauty

Members: Ann Guerrera and Aine Kapell

Venture Description: Alchemists Beauty LLC has created a beauty tonic called S T R U C T U R E. This tonic is formulated with a diverse selection of plant based essential nutrients the body needs to renew, protect & repair our skin. S T R U C T U R E is approaching beautiful skin with a new philosophy; from the inside out.

How does this business reflect your personal values?
Ann & Aine: We are very passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and our environment.  Our product is all natural, plant based, free of animal testing and made with renewable, recyclable materials.

If you were to win the $10,000 grand prize at the Venture Showcase, what would you do with it?
A&A: Since we are high school teachers, and our funds currently are very limited, $10,000 would truly help to launch and propel our vision/product:

  • Startup costs for production
    • Materials
    • Space
  • General Launch Costs
    • Initial customer trials
    • Marketing materials
    • Distribution
  • Market Research
    • Target customers
