Announcing the Judges of the 2019 Impact Accelerator Venture Showcase

We’re excited to welcome three judges to this year’s Impact Accelerator Venture Showcase, each of whom bring their own unique experiences with entrepreneurship and mentoring to the Venture Showcase. Their task will be to evaluate each of the seven pitches based on clarity, feasibility, and how the ventures are able to answer questions.

Kevin Bouley is the President and CEO of Nerac, Inc., a global technology and IP advisory research firm. He supports numerous tech start-ups through Angel investing and XcellR8 meetings. He serves on the UConn School of Engineering Advisory Board, the UConn School of Business Advisory Cabinet.

Susan Coleman is a professor of finance at the University of Hartford, where she teaches courses in entrepreneurial and corporate finance. Co-author of three books, one on social entrepreneurship titled Creating the Social Venture . Previously served as a member of Governor M. Jodi Rell’s Economic Advisory Council.

Steven Taylor is the Vice President and Branch Manager for United Bank in Downtown Hartford. He serves on the Board of Directors for Capital Community College Foundation, The Business for Downtown Hartford, and The Betty Knox Foundation. Alumnus of the Leadership Greater Hartford Quest Program.
