Aetna Requests Grants that Address Community Health Through Mobile Apps

The Aetna Foundation is posing the question, “can mobile technology make a significant difference in helping people adopt a healthier lifestyle habits?” It’s a huge question right now in social business, technology, health care, and innovation spheres, and this is your opportunity to pitch a solution!

Aetna’ Foundation’s National Grants program is offering an invitation to grant proposals that evaluate mobile apps to promote healthy choices at the community level, specifically within under-served communities. The Foundation will consider apps that address root causes and social determinants of community health, and encourages proposals from outside the traditional health care sector.

The Foundation will hots a webinar to provide perspective grant seekers with tips on how to navigate the application, submission process, and for a regional grant serving one of the Foundation’s priority geographical communities.
