Innovators, Curry and Foran Form “Fresh Farm Aquaponics”

reSET Commuincations • Jan 23, 2015

Two twenty-five year old life-long friends have become indoor farmers and have formed a company called Fresh Farm Aquaponics. Kieran Foran (left), a Political Science major from Northeastern University and Spencer Curry, a latin and philosophy major from the University of Vermont are growing plants in water where fish are swimming around indoors. It’s a perfect eco-system. These two have been in business about three years after figuring out how to do this and are teaching others around the state. Colorado, California and Texas have jumped into this game as their droughts are lasting longer and longer. These well-spoken young nutmeggers came back to their Connecticut to set up shop, they’re figuring out today how to grow food for tomorrow.
