MetroHartford Alliance’s “Pulse of the Region” Radio Show Highlights Assets, Issues Impacting Community

ewalsh • July 19, 2016

Aiming to provide insight and direction from experts in various fields on a multitude of topics, the MetroHartford Alliance (strategic partner of reSET) launched its “Pulse of the Region” radio show in June 2014. Since that time, the program has featured hundreds of Alliance investors and other subject matter experts on topics including economic developmenttransportation, the impact of local college athleticsinnovation and entrepreneurship, and healthcare, to name just a few.

The show focuses on the Alliance’s nine areas of strategic focus between 2016-2019, including marketing the Greater Hartford region, global economic development and promoting an entrepreneurial ecosystem. Each show highlights these focus areas and offers insight and perspective from the experts who know them intimately and impact change. Oz Griebel, Alliance President and CEO, hosts the show along with special guest moderators who ask provocative questions that provide answers for listeners.

The show airs Saturdays at 8 a.m. on ESPN 97.9 FM, Saturdays at 10 a.m. on WPOP News Talk 1410 AM, and Sundays at 9:30 a.m. on New Haven WELI 960 AM. Click here for recent episodes, including two that reSET participated in.
