In an effort to foster entrepreneurship in Greater Hartford, the MetroHartford Alliance provided $100,000 for reSET to grow its programs in the Parkville section of the city.
The money will provide reSET with additional capital to continue its programs designed to help businesses ideas become startups and for startups to become full-fledged companies. Those services include a coworking space and an incubator; legal, accounting, finance and government support programs; a 16-week business accelerator; and mentoring.
ReSET recently moved from its original office on Pratt Street in downtown Hartford to 1429 Park St. in the Parkville section of the city. The new space is a repurposed factory that reSET will use further grow its business support programming, and it is closer to public transportation options.
“This partnership will not only champion entrepreneurship but also facilitate collaboration among resource providers and entrepreneurs throughout Hartford and the entire region, leading to even greater support for those seeking to start their own business,” said Oz Griebel, president and CEO, MetroHartford Alliance.
