Hartford accelerator reSET said this week it is partnering with community development platform Breakfast Lunch & Dinner (BL&D) to help entrepreneurs connect socially.

Based in the Parkville section of Hartford at 1429 Park St., reSET provides incubator space for entrepreneurs and freelancers and operates an accelerator as well as an internship program, said spokesperson Emily Walsh. BL&D provides event programming and other services like its Know Good food market in Hartford, she said.

The partnership has formed on a trial basis through the end of June, with the option to renew based on performance, Walsh said. Other terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ReSET Managing Director Ojala Naeem said her organization would continue to oversee its accelerator, internship, mentor network and entrepreneurial support programming, while BL&D takes over the space’s coworking and event operations.

“BL&D has a really great track record of bringing the community together,” said Walsh. “We’re looking for them to bring that social community aspect to our programming. We’ve found our entrepreneurs are looking to connect on a more social level.”
