Newman’s Own Foundation supports reSET with a $15,000 grant!

ewalsh • June 9, 2014

reSET, the Social Enterprise Trust, is delighted to be the beneficiary of a grant of $15,000 from Newman’s Own Foundation. The grant, which was awarded in May, will be used for two purposes: in support of reSET’s Fast Track program and the 2014 Social Enterprise Awards event. The Awards event will be held on November 3, 2014 at The Society Room in Hartford. Fast Track is a custom-designed program offered to social enterprises that are in operation and generating revenues to help them overcome specific challenges and barriers to their growth.

Newman’s Own Foundation, founded by philanthropist and actor Paul Newman gives away all profits from the sale of Newman’s Own products to charities around the world. Since 1982, Paul Newman and Newman’s Own Foundation have donated more than $400 million.

reSET is grateful to Newman’s Own Foundation for this gift, and for their generous support over a number of years. Gifts like this one are crucial to accomplishing our work, and we consider ourselves lucky to have Newman’s Own Foundation as our supporter and partner.
