reSET Business Factory Wins Big at CTNext’s EIA Awards

We’re thrilled to announce that five out of the 10 business that pitched at last night’s Entrepreneur Innovation Awards (EIAs), hosted by CTNext, were supported by efforts at the reSET Business Factory this year!  As a bit of background, the EIAs are a great, Shark Tank-style pitch event for Connecticut-based entrepreneurs and startups to compete for cash prizes up to $10,000.

All five of these enterprises were mentored by the Entrepreneur-In-Residence at reSET, Eric Knight, who is funded through CTNext, and three (*) graduated from of our 16-week accelerator program (LaunchPad for Impact):

CivicLift*

Fresh Farm Aquaponics LLC*

Send Help Back Home*

Imperium Technologies LLC

Ray Lighting + Design Studios, LLC

Ultimately, out of the four companies that won $10,000, Send Help Back Home, Ray Lighting + Design Studios, LLC, and Imperium Technologies LLC each did. Send Help Back Home also won another $2,000 for being a “Judge’s Favorite” and FRESH Farm Aquaponics won $2,000 for being a “Crowd Favorite.”

Congrats to CTNext for yet another great EIAs and to all of the inspiring entrepreneurs who participated!
